TopCamp Xtra membership rules
TopCamp Xtra applies to guests over the age of 18. Only one membership per family is neccessary. Businesses and legal entities are not eligible.
When the member activates his/her TopCamp Xtra card, he/she accepts the general terms and conditions that apply to the card as described here.
The TopCamp Xtra card must be activated at the TopCamp website www.topcamp.dk, where the member concerned can also amend his/her personal data.
Membership is taken out in the member’s name and at the address specified by the member. E-mails are sent to the e-mail address entered by the member concerned. The member has no further financial liability with respect to the TopCamp Xtra card.
The TopCamp Xtra card remains the property of TopCamp A/S.
If the card is lost or damaged, the member must inform the TopCamp secretariat immediately. The card will then be cancelled and a new card issued, for which an administration fee of DKK 200 will be charged. Any bonus points are assigned to the new card.
In the event of repeated violation of the general terms and conditions, TopCamp reserves the right to terminate membership without further notice. In such an event, the bonus points earned will be void and the card will be cancelled.
A member can receive information on request about his/her current status and the number of bonus points earned.
Points
For a member to be eligible to earn bonus points, the member must declare his/her membership at check-in and show his/her TopCamp Xtra card.
Bonus points can only be awarded retroactively if an error has occurred in connection with the booking or the stay. In such cases, bonus points can only be given retroactively for a period of maximum 30 days.
A member accrues bonus points every time he/she stays overnight at a TopCamp site in Denmark. Additional bonus points that can be earned can be seen at the TopCamp website. 1 point = 0,75 DKK
Bonus points can only be awarded for completed stays.
Stays and activities that are paid for with bonus points do not give new bonus points.
Bonus points are awarded for all overnight stays except for all-season-pitches for resident campers and are valid from the date of issue.
Bonus points are only awarded to members that show their TopCamp Xtra card.
A group of members cannot combine their points in order to receive benefits. The right to convert points can only be exercised by one member per berth/room/chalet.
Bonus points are valid for 4 years from the date of issue. After this period, the points become obsolete. Bonus points cannot be sold, inherited or in any other way transferred. If a member does not earn any points within a period of 24 months, TopCamp reserves the right to terminate membership.
Conversion of points
Membership is personal and it is only the holder of the TopCamp Xtra card that can use the bonus points. When the member has a minimum of 100 points on his/her account, these points can be converted to a discount on an overnight stay. Bonus points cannot be paid out in cash.
The member of TopCamp Xtra is responsible for looking after his/her card number and password in such a manner that a third party cannot use the card. In the event of misuse of the TopCamp Xtra card, TopCamp A/S and the TopCamp sites cannot be held liable.
Bonus points can be used in connection with special offers, credit vouchers or special campaigns unless this is explicitly stated by TopCamp A/S.
Personal data policy
By activating the TopCamp Xtra card, the member accepts that TopCamp A/S is authorised to collect and keep personal data in connection with the membership and activities. Existing legislation and the general terms and conditions create the basis for this acquisition of personal data.
The acquisition and processing of personal data is necessary to maintain membership and to be able to register TopCamp Xtra points.
Personal data and data concerning the member´s visits and activities, etc., are kept for a maximum of one year after the latest activity on the member´s bonus card.
Personal data can be transferred between TopCamp A/S and TopCamp A/S´ partners in order to coordinate special offers and activities. Data which comprises customers´ purchasing patterns and points earned may be analysed by TopCamp A/S and used in cooperation with TopCamp A/S´ partners in general or customer-specific campaigns and special offers.
TopCamp A/S is responsible for the protection of sensitive personal data. TopCamp Xtra members have the right to information concerning the data stored. This requires a written submission of questions addressed to

Members are able to correct or delete incorrect or incomplete information on TopCamp A/S´ website. Members can write to the address above if they no longer wish to receive direct mails.
Miscellaneous
Membership can be terminated at any time by the member deactivating his/her membership card at www.topcamp.dk. A card that still contains bonus points cannot be deactivated.
Members will receive special offers from TopCamp A/S at undefined intervals. These can include special offers that are only temporarily available and only intended for specific markets or groups. The special offers may also depend on a particular purchase.
TopCamp A/S reserves the right to terminate TopCamp Xtra within a particular period. Members will receive notification to this effect in plenty of time.
TopCamp A/S also reserves the right to amend the general terms and conditions. Such amendments will be forwarded to the members in writing or via e-mail and in plenty of time. Amendments are regarded as being accepted unless the member deactivates his/her card within a period of 1 month.
If a TopCamp site does not live up to its responsibility in relation to the TopCamp Xtra concept, which may be due to insolvency or other issues, the TopCamp Xtra member can have his/her Xtra points recredited as long as a booking has been made, but his/her extra points have not yet been converted.
Danish law is always applicable.
